Fine black wool serge with black woven lining; decorated with white silk braid on shawl collar, front, around bottom of jacket, cuffs, shoulders and with a large heart shaped embelishment across back. Darts at lower edge give fitted appearance.History
This is part of a charro costume (along with pants and sombrero). A charro is a horseman who practices the sport of the Charreria (much like a rodeo).
