Description
Tan twill shirt with epaulets on each shoulder; 6 brown buttons close the front; long sleeves close with 2 buttons at cuff; 2 buttoned down breast pockets; "14.5 x 33, 55-S-1964-53" is stamped in neck; "03769" is stamped inside right front shirttail.
History
Worn by Merle Overway (1934-2010), life long Holland resident, who served in the army in Korea. The shirt was issued from Fort Knox in February of 1954.
