The donor, Pedro Beltran, played this accordion in a band called Ortega. They performed throughout the Holland, MI area, Grand Rapids and Chicago from 1947 to 1962. Pedro's father bought the accordion in a music store in Holland, MI. Pedro lived in Holland, working for Heinz, before retiring ca. 1996 and moving to Texas.
