Accordion, burgundy with 12 white buttons along the bottom front.  31 white treble keys on a black, plastic keyboard with a chrome grill.
History
The donor, Pedro Beltran, played this accordion in a band called Ortega. They performed throughout the Holland, MI area, Grand Rapids and Chicago from 1947 to 1962. Pedro's father bought the accordion in a music store in Holland, MI.

Pedro Beltran was born 1-7-1926 in McAllen, TX to Ramon and San Juana Beltran. He was the second generation of the Beltran family to play the accordion.
By 1954 Pedro was living in Holland, MI at 50 1/2 east 7th Street with his wife Epifamia. Pedro worked at Heinz in Holland before retiring ca. 1996 and moving back to Texas.

Pedro passed away in McAllen, TX on 3-10-2005.
