Incomplete yardage of burnt orange and a lighter shade brocade; there is an all-over design with a larger pattern on bottom border; 6/5" knotted faded fringe finishes the drape; a deteriorated section has been cut from top and a new pocket for a curtain rod has been hand-stitched.History
This drape belonged to donor's great-grandmother, Ada McRoy (1848-1933). She was an early resident to Macatawa, MI, from Chicago, ca. 1890's.Ada and her husband George (1852-1938) were friends of Frank Baum. Dorothy Hall was a granddaughter.
