Description
Square of fine cotton with floral print of brown, tan, ecru and henna centered in a burnt orange border; selvages on two sides with hand overcast hems on opposite edges.
History
Worn by donor's grandmother, Grace Jacobs (Lemmen) on the boat when she emigrated from the Netherlands as a child c. early 1880's.
