History
Objects in accession 2000.17 belonged to Lois Mae Marsilje (1911-2001). Lois attended Holland High, graduating in 1928, and Hope College before embarking on a 35 year career (1939-1974) as a reformed Church Missionary to India. She worked in India as a missionary nurse. Items in 2000.17 are from India, acquired by Lois from 1939 to 1974 and brought back home to Holland, MI in 1974 upon her retirement.
