Description
Thick, almost round wooden bowl formed on a lathe; outside is painted black with red rim; oil stains inside; found in chicken house by Tina Ten Cate's residence in East Saugatuck. Ca. 1880.
History
No known local provenance. Items in 2000.43 were purchased by the curator, Joel lefever, for display in the Settlers House. They were never intended to be in the permanent collection and should therefore be tiered or deaccessioned.
