Description
a) Heavy, pink and gold, damask top with large floral designs embroidered with gold thread; fitted, long-sleeved, double-breasted, wrap-around design; shoulders are gathered; lining is pale pink cotton; closes with four hooks.b) 33.5" x 26" x .125" Bright purple, damask skirt, matching scarf with heavy gold and silver embroidery; at hem is 10" crosswise straight band of similar fabric; waist band is of matching plain purple, lined with heavy, blue-figured cotton; waistline is folded and wrapped around making a double-layered, narrow skirt; metal clip at waist.c) 84" x 8" x .125" Long, bright purple, damask scarf heavily embroidered in gold and silver and trimmed with gold braid; worn around chest and neck to hang down in front and back; both ends have 5.5" long nets of gold beads ending in a fringe of gold glass beads with clear, pink, plastic bead near end. Traditional Laotian wedding outfits (suit thang ngran/dhong). These outfits could also be worn for Baci or Su Kwon.
