History
Andries Steketee (1840-1917) ran the A. Steketee & Sons Dry Good Store located at 18-22 E. 8th Street in Holland, MI. It appears that Andries Steketee took over the store from his brother Paul Steketee (1834-1899) in about 1872. Paul continued to have a store in Grand Rapids, Michigan, Steketee's Department store. Andries ran the Holland store with the help of his younger brother Bastian (1855-1928).
