History
Part of a wedding suit worn by the donor’s father, Arie Cornelius Schook (ca.1890-1948). Arie married Cornelia Hermina Van Ommeren (ca. 1890-1948) on March 11, 1914 at Lienden, Gelderland, Netherlands. The donor’s parents do not appear to have left the Netherlands (according to family tree on ancestry.com). More than likely, the donor brought the suit over to America.
