This cap was made by Park Township resident Henrietta Witteveen Johnson for her daughter Dorothy, Henrietta was born on 12-8-1909 in Holland, MI. She married Nicholas Johnson on 9-14-1933 in Zeeland, MI. The Johnson's lived in Park Township, Ottawa County, MI (1940, 1950 US census). Henrietta passed away in Holland, MI on 4-26-1982.Dorothy wore this cap to Tulip Time parades and events during the 1950s. Dorothy Johnson married Richard Huizenga in Holland, MI in July of 1959.
