Phonograph record, 45 rpm, recorded by Brunswick, featuring Buddy Holly and the Crickets performing "That'll Be The Day".  This 45 was recorded on 2-25-1957 and released in May of 1957. 

"That'll Be the Day" ranked at #39 on the Rolling Stone list of the 500 greatest songs.
History
This 45 belonged to Phil Kimberley (1940-2011). Phil, the son of Walter and Helen Kimberley, grew up in Holland, MI. Like so many American teenagers of the 1950s, Phil had a collection of 45 rpm records from the top artists of the day.

As a child, Phil was a member of the Third Reformed Church in Holland and later attended Hope Church. Phil's career was in the retail and wholesale clothing industries. In retirement, Phil collected coins and served as a docent at the Holland Museum and Cappon House.
