Metal, cone-shaped speaking trumpet. The trumpet is cream colored with a red inside lip. The words "Foreman Columbia No. 2" appear in yellow and gold.History
This speaking trumpet belonged to John Kramer (1838-1913), a member of the Columbia Hose Company No 2 fire company in Holland, MI.John also served as a lieutenant in Company I, Michigan Volunteer Infantry during the Civil War. He later owned a grocery store in Holland with Peter Boot named Boot & Kramer.
