Black wool U.S. Coast Guard uniform; (d) scarf black, fine fabric triangle tied into a knot and gathered at back with a heavy thread.
History
The donor’s husband, John Weeber, Jr. (1923-2007), wore this while serving in the Coast Guard during WWII. John, a longtime resident of Holland, MI (ca. 1954-2002), was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Holland. He worked for Wolverine Brass in Grand Rapids.
