History
Used by John Rooks (1898-1944) and, later, John’s son Jerold Rooks, Sr. while competing in harness racing. They raced in Holland, MI at the Ottawa County Fairgrounds and in Marne, MI. John was born in Fillmore, MI. He married Joerna Steggerda in Holland, MI. Both John and Jerold were residents of the Holland, MI area.
