History
The donor is a nephew of the artist. Dorothy Vander Bie Von Ins (1925-1967) was born without hands or feet. Despite this challenge, she created many wonderful works of art. She worked with paints and needlepoint.

Dorothy lived in Holland, MI and graduated from Holland High.
