Ben Mulder was born in the Netherlands on January 3, 1902. His family moved to the US when he was six years old.Ben worked as a mason for Smeenge and Van Dyke Contractors, he was active in Boy Scouts and woodcarving at vocational school.
Ben passed away on August 26, 1980 in Holland, MI. His wife was Jennie Kobes Mulder (1901–1985).
