Description
Black and white postcard featuring an exterior image of Borr's Bootery.  The image was taken at night, allowing for the display cases to be lit up and visible to shoppers walking by.
History
Borr's Bootery was located at 13 West 8th in 1931. By 1940, it was at 21 West 8th. Borr's was operated by James Borr and Matthew Borr.
James was born on 6-2-1896 and died 5-10-1982. He married Kathryn (1895-1972). Matthew was born on 2-17-1898 and died 1-17-1979. He married Cornelia (1900-1997). All are buried in Pilgrim Home.
