History
Frank H. Harmsen (1897-1987) lived with his wife Marie (1893-1969) in Holland, MI at 177 East 5th Street (1921, 1931, 1942, 1950 and 1958 city directories). For more than fifty years Frank worked in Holland as a railroad conductor, first with the Pere Marquette, then with the C & O.

Frank married Marie Ver Schure in Holland, MI on 12-1-1914. They had four daughters: Evelyn Mae Harmsen ,1917–1990; Thelma June Harmsen. 1919–2013; Helen Ruth Harmsen, 1922–2009; and, Adeline Marie Harmsen, 1930–1992.
