History

Art A. Visscher (1886-1969) and his wife Helene Keppel Visscher (1888-1970) lived in Holland, MI on North Shore Drive. In the winter (1950s-1960s), they lived in a trailer in Florida. They had two children: Helena Visscher Winter; and, Dorothy "Dody" Visscher Fredrickson. Art attended Hope College and, at one time, worked for the Ottawa Furniture Company in Holland. Both Art and Helene were members of the Hope Church in Holland. They are both buried in Pilgrim Home Cemetery. Gertrude Keppel Vander Broek (1895-1977) is buried here as well.
