Description
Black and white photograph showing four children dressed in Dutch costume. The two children on the right are Paul and Sara Fredrickson. It looks as though they are standing in a boulevard, lined with tulips.This photo was most likely taken in Holland during Tulip Time.
History
Sara and brother Paul were Holland, MI residents. Their mother, Dody, was born on August 25, 1918 to Helene Keppel Visscher and Art Visscher. Dody grew up in Holland, MI and remained here her entire life. She married Paul Fredrickson. Dody was an art teacher, teaching for many years at West Ottawa High School. She died on July 14, 2005 and was buried in Pilgrim Home.
