History
The artist, Mae Naber married Myron "Mike" Van Ark in Holland, Mi in 1955. From 1958 through 1962, Mae attended the Oxbow in Saugatuck, where she learned from other artists. She later took art classes at Hope in painting and print making. Mae helped establish the Art's Council where she later taught water color classes for adults, the disabled and kids. Mae always did her own framing and painted from memory and photo.
