History
Katherine "Katie" Kolla was born in Ohio on 3-14-1889 to John Kolla (1860-1933) and Caroline Kolla (1863-1937). Her father was founder of Holland Furnace. Katie married Oscar Nystrom in Holland, MI on 9-7-1907. They had two children: Helena (1908-1959) and John K. (1914-1928). Katie and Oscar divorced in Holland on 11-24-1926. Katie married Paul Theodore Cheff on 11-9-1931 in Los Angeles, CA. Katie passed away in Holland, MI on 9-12-1966.

Paul Theodore Cheff was born on 8-11-1905 in Jamestown, Ottawa County, MI. Cheff would later become head of Holland Furnace. P.T. Cheff died on 12-14-1991 in Holland, MI.
