Christmas card mailed to the Bos family, Manufactured by Leanin’ Tree, Boulder, CO. T512 - Original painting by Gerda Christoffersen. Outside image-2 Native American children wrapped in colorful blankets, head band with one feather sitting in the snow, all blue background. Wording: “May Your moccasins make happy tracks in many snows and the rainbow always touch your shoulder.” Inside wording “Merry Christmas and Happy New Year”. signature by John, Tena, and Don.
History
The Bos family consisted of the donor, Brenda, and her parents Berend (1906-1981) and Grace (1913-1984). They lived in Holland, MI at 259 West 23rd Street. Berend worked at the French Pastry Shoppe and Dutch Boy Bakery.
