Description
Christmas card mailed to the Bos family of Holland, MI.  This is a rectangular Christmas card with the front in shades of green.  At the top of the front are the words “Season’s Greetings”.  Beneath the words is an image of Santa wearing milk man delivery hat and holding a rectangular container of six milk bottles,  Santa is riding on the back of a cow.
Inside left show image of white house, green and stars and moon surrounding house, Santa walking up to house holding a milk bottle crate in each hand. Inside right “We’ve put jingle bells on Bossy, She’s better than Santa’s deer, She brings you health in bottles, Each day throughout the year! Merry Christmas, Happy New Year from MEADOW BROOK DAIRY”.
History
Meadow Brook Dairy was owned and operated by Ed Romeyn (1888-1953). Ed was born in Grandville, MI on 3-28-1888 to Peter Romeyn and Kate Treke. On 11-28-1907 Ed married Christina Marcus in Holland, MI. Ed passed away in Holland, MI on 3-21-1953.
