Johannes Van Lente (1835-1911) married Jantje Bouman (1841-1918) on 8-23-1865. He died on 9-10-1911 in Holland, MI and was buried in Pilgrim Home Cemetery beside the statue of the Civil War soldier.Johannes helped design the stone fountain located in Centennial Park in Holland, MI. He spent several years employed by the City of Holland as a gardener.
