Their daughter was Julia Kortering Boeve, born April 8, 1891 in Overisel, MI. She married John J. Boeve on 11-30-1916. Julia died on 2-14-1965, John died on 4-4-1955. Both are buried in Pilgrim Home Cemetery. Their son, Donald H. Boeve, was born 5-31-1918 and died 11-29-1970. Donald married Alma Mae Helder on 10-30-1921.
John J, Boeve's parents were Jan H. “John” Boeve (1862-1934) and Diena “Dina” Nyland Boeve (1865-1922). They were residents of the Fillmore, MI area. Both are buried in the East Holland Cemetery .
