Description
Silver-colored, metal canteen with black, plastic, screw-on top,  The top is connected to the canteen with a chain.

2018.25.3b is the army green, canvas canteen carrying bag.  This contains metal buttons, for snap closure, a green strap and the Boy Scout logo on the front.


 
History
The Boy Scout gear from accession 2018.25 belonged to the donor, Holland, MI resident Roger Borr. Roger was born ca. 1932 to Richard and Gertrude Borr. He grew up in Holland, MI, graduating from Holland High in 1950. Roger began a long teaching career with the West Ottawa Public Schools in 1963.
