Description
Army green bag with metal snap to keep the flip over cover in place. Army green strap for carrying the bag over the shoulder. The initials "RB." appear on the front, in black (Roger Borr, the donor). This was used to hold the pieces of the Boy Scout's mess kit.
History
The Boy Scout gear from accession 2018.25 belonged to the donor, Holland, MI resident Roger Borr. Roger was born ca. 1932 to Richard and Gertrude Borr. He grew up in Holland, MI, graduating from Holland High in 1950. Roger began a long teaching career with the West Ottawa Public Schools in 1963.
