Description
Black and white photograph showing roughly 11 members of the Borrs Bootery Rec league basketball team from 1957.  Made up of members of Hope College's fraternity, Cosmopolitan, this team won the city league championship that year.

History
In the back row, far left, wearing a hat, is Orlie A. Bishop (1896-1968). Orlie, one of only two adults in this photo, worked as an advertising salesman for the Holland Sentinel. He lived in Holland at 10 East 21st Street with his wife Gladys.
