Color photograph showing the headstone of Holland resident Homer Ten Cate, buried in the Henri Chapelle American Cemetery in Belgium. Beside the headstone stands Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Miller of Rochester, MI. Herbert was a member of the 30th Infantry Division with Homer.
History
Homer Ten Cate was born July 24, 1926 in Holland, MI. He was killed in battle in Germany on October 27, 1944 His father was Homer Ten Cate, Sr. (1898-1936), his mother Cornelia Depuy (1899-1997).
