Holland Furnace began in 1906, founded by John P. Kolla (1860-1933) and his son-in-law, August H. Landwehr (1880-1937). By 1948, the company had a branch in 48 states with sales reaching $41 million. Holland Furnace ceased production in 1962.George Tinholt was born in Graafschap, MI on 7-12-1894 to Lambertus Tinholt and Zwaantje "Susan" Schrotenboert. George passed away on 11-11-1977.
