Description
Black and white photograph of the side view of the Civil War monument in Pilgrim Home Cemetary, dedicated to 31 men from Holland who did not come back from the war, surrounded by other graves.  The monument was dedicated on May 30, 1902, after the presentation of the moment from Mayor C.J. De Roo to D.B.K. Van Raalte, commander of the A.C. Van Raalte Post of the Grand Army of the Republic.  $1,117 was collected to create the monument.
