Description
Black and white photograph of the storefront of the Holland House Hotel located at 8th & Central NE. The building was erected in 1872 as the City Hotel, became the Holland Hotel in 1891, and purchased by A.H. Landwehr from Hermanus Boone in 1923 for $65,000. Landwehr demolished the building on March 10, 1924, to make room for the Warm Friend Tavern, which was completed on April 25, 1925.
