Black and white photograph of a boulder and commemorative plaque. "This boulder commemorates the first planting of Pheasants in Michigan. They were released near this spot by A.G. Baumgartel of Holland, Michigan. March 27, 1895. Erected by Holland Fish & Game Club, Holland Pointer & Setter Club. November 1940." The boulder is located in Olive Township.
