This postcard was sent to Mr. and Mrs. Vande Water in Iowa by their niece, Jennie. The text reads: "Hello Uncle J, and auntie B. We have been waiting for word from you long. We are all well and how are you folks? rite soon, Jennie"It was postmarked July 12 ad 4:30 pm and has a 1 cent stamp.
The Holland Civic Center is now located where the Tannery once stood, prior to burning in the fire of 1871.
