Black and white photograph of Sipp Houtman and Little Netherlands during Tulip Time 1959. This scene depicts the village of Volendam. Houtman was the Tulip Time festival manager, starting in 1938. In 1935, he began creating a full-sized Dutch village. In 1936, he created Little Netherlands, debuting it in 1938.
