History
Under the leadership of Hollis S. Baker the Baker Furniture Company moved into a vacant Bush & Lane factory in Holland, MI in 1933. Hollis' father, Siebe Baker, was the company founder. Siebe had previously operated the business out of Hamilton, MI and Allegan, MI.Baker Furniture produced high-end furniture with two plants in Holland, MI and six plants overall. They continued production in Holland until 2004.
Arloa Jean Perez was supervisor of baker's decorating department, which included 40 artists.
