Description
Wilson brand tennis racket with the signature of Bobby Riggs on the handle. Tan wood, white and black strings, black handle.
History
This tennis racket was used by the donor, Holland, MI resident Roger Borr, when he played for the Holland Junior High tennis team ca. 1946. Roger was born ca. 1932 to Richard and Gertrude Borr. He grew up in Holland, MI, graduating from Holland High in 1950. Roger began a long teaching career with the West Ottawa Public Schools in 1963.
