Description
A business size ivory envelope. On the front is the Limberts Arts & Crafts Furniture trade mark logo in the upper right corner. Below the trade mark is "Ater 5 days return to Charles P. Limbert Company". On the back of the envelope is "Charles P. Limbert Company, Salesrooms first floor, Blodgett Building, Grand Rapids, Michigan since 1889" on the envelope flap. Below that is a photo sketch of the company and the trade mark logo in the center back.
History
Charles P. Limbert started the Charles P. Limbert Company (1894-1944) to manufacture chairs. In 1902, the company began to produce a line of furniture entitled “Dutch Arts and Crafts" or "mission" style of furniture. It is this style that brought recognition to the company. The Holland Michigan factory was located on the corner of 6th and Columbia in Holland.;
