Article in the Review newsletter of the Holland Historical Trust dated Winder 2001, Volume 14, Number 3. The front of the newsletter has a partial photo of workers at the Charles P. Limbert factory in Holland circa 1910. The article by Ann Kiewel gives a history of the limbert company along with photos.
History
Charles P. Limbert started the Charles P. Limbert Company (1894-1944) to manufacture chairs. In 1902, the company began to produce a line of furniture entitled “Dutch Arts and Crafts" or "mission" style of furniture. It is this style that brought recognition to the company. The Holland Michigan factory was located on the corner of 6th and Columbia in Holland.
