REIMOLD HISTORYOrlando S. Reimold, Sr. was born in Saline, MI on 5-8-1873. He was employed by the World Book Company and traveled extensively.
Orlando married Julia Christine Van Raalte on 9-10-1902 in Hong Kong, China. She was born in Holland, MI on 11-23-1873 to Ben Van Raalte and Julia Gilmore. Orlando and Julia had the following children: Philip Reimold (1903-1939) and Orlando Reimold, Jr. (1910-1977).
The family lived in Holland Township on 16th. Their homestead, which had belonged to Ben Van Raalte, was known as the Maples.
