Description
A trifold brochure about Lake Shore Cabins. The resort was located in Virginia Park in Holland along the shore of Lake Macatawa. The brochures has photos of guests enjoying activities during their time at the resort. Hand written on the brochure is "Vintage 1941-1945" and the names of some of the people on the brochure. The owners and managers were The "Vans", Mr. and Mrs. H. A. Vander Ploeg. The brochure gives many amenities of the resort and surrounding area. Some are; insulated cabins for year-round visitors, double beds, linens, boats and outboard motors, sandy beaches, enclosed playground, tennis courts, power boat for cruises, bus service to Holland. It also directs guest to dine across the street at Bill Baker's Parkway Tavern for fresh lake trout and fried chicken. The rates in the brochure are from $3.50 to $6.50 per cabin.
