Black and white photograph showing the Little Netherlands's model. Little Netherlands was an exhibit started in 1938 and was designed by Sipp H. Houtman. It was displayed at the Netherlands Museum located at 13th and Central. Houtman was the Tulip Time festival manager, starting in 1938. In 1935, he began creating a full-sized Dutch village. In 1936, he created Little Netherlands, debuting it in 1938. Sipp was a former postmaster at Holland Post Office.
