Certificates for being "neither tardy nor absent", 1917, 1919, 1920, 1921, 1923. These were given to Gordelia Kleinheksel who was a pupil of Fillmore School, District No. 3, Fillmore Township, Allegan County. 

Certificate b is dated June 1, 1917, and signed by teacher Elizabeth C. Hartgerink and County Commissioner of Schools C. Lloyd Goodrich. 

Certificate g is dated February 4, 1921 and signed by teacher Della Van Der Kolk and County Commissioner of Schools C. Lloyd Goodrich. 

 
History
Gordelia Kleinheksel studied nursing at the University of Michigan in the 1920s. Gordelia was born in 1909 in Holland, MI to Fannie (Wordhuis) and Daniel Kleinheksel. She grew up on a farm at A-3837 50th Street, Overisel, Michigan. Gordelia attended school in Fillmore Township, an Hope Preparatory School, graduating in 1927. From there she studied at the University of Michigan School of Nursing, graduating on May 29, 1931. It is thought she worked as a nurse at the Univeristy of Michigan Hospital. She married Dr. Gerald DeMaagd, who was from Grand Rapids, MI, in 1934. They lived in Rockford, Michigan. Gordelia passed away on October 31, 1977. Their children were Baby Girl stillborn in May 1935, Gerald Robert, Patricia Louise, Susan Lynn.
