Photograph showing a Slickcraft boat on the water. On the back of the photo is typed information about the boat.
History
The Slickcraft Boat Company was formed in 1954 by Leon R. Slikkers. Originally the company was located in small quarters at 791 Washington, with Slikkers and his family living in the apartment above the work area (6-9-1979 Holland Sentinel).

Slickcraft boats were made of fiberglass, with the hull constructed "at a plant located at 9 West Seventh Street...then shipped to the Washington Avenue plant where they were equipped with a mahogany wood deck, hardware, steering controls and seating." (Boats Made In Holland, page 81, Geoffrey Reynolds).
