Rectangular-shaped sign with red, metal sides and back. The Front is white plastic. In red letters on the front is the name "Holland Furnace Co.". This sign has an electric cord attached on the right side, along with a pull cord to turn it on.History
The donor's father, Elmer L. Berens, worked for the Holland Furnace Co. in Holland, MI. In the 1960s, when Holland Furnace was in the process of going out of business, objects such as this sign were liquidated.Elmer was born in Overisel, MI on 6-8-1919 to Harm and Clara Berens. Elmer married Muriel Vander Popper in Overisel on 3-14-1941. They later lived in Hamilton, MI.
