These eyeglasses belonged to Henry Brusse, grandfather to Henry W. Brusse (1921-1987). The elder Henry was born in the Netherlands on 1-4-1866. He passed away in Holland, MI on 1-16-1951.Henry married Sarah Elzinga in Grand Rapids, MI in 1887. Their children included Rose H., Orrie John and Julius J.
Henry served as the mayor of Holland, MI. from 1908-1911.
