2015.42 is a collection of campaign buttons belonging to Holland, MI resident and former Hope College biology professor Paul Van Faasen (1934-2015). He graduated from Holland Christian High School in 1952 and Hope in 1956. Paul was a veteran of the U.S. Army, in which he served for two years.Paul’s wife Jan dropped this collection off at the museum in September, 2015. She told me that Paul had always been interested in politics, therefore, he took up collecting campaign buttons.
