Description
A color postcard of Russ' Restaurant in Holland on 8th Street. On the back of the postcard it says, "Russ' Drive-In, One of West Michigan's finest with twenty-seven years of continuous car and inside service and serving up to 3500 persons daily. Drive-In is located on U.S. 31 Business Route, the South East limits of Holland, Michigan. "It's Tulip Time in Holland every year in May."

Randall P. "Randy" Vande Water was a local historian and newspaper editor. He spent 4 decades at the Holland Sentinel working as sports editor, city editor, editorial page editor, and managing editor.
